($125) Medium ruby-red. Black cherry, currant, licorice and tobacco leaf on the nose. Supple, sweet and pliant, with nicely concentrated flavors of berry and spices. Not especially complex but offers good creamy mid-palate depth. Finishes with ripe tannins, sexy oak spices and attractive lift.
