Good bright, pale color. Pungent, cool aromas of grapefruit, white pepper, curry powder and brown spices; something riesling-like about this. Then juicy and penetrating yet surprisingly easy to drink, with sharply focused flavors of citrus fruit, minerals and quinine intensified by brisk acidity. Nervy, nuanced sauvignon with terrific verve and length.

A fine example of New Zealand Marlborough region sauvignon blanc. Full of grapefruit and mellon flavors. Best if served highly chilled on a warm summer evening. Best buy at Costco at $14.99 per bottle, but certainly a good buy at Winehouse if you want to avoid the Costco crowds.
