90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - April 2008

($29) Pale straw-green color with a gold tinge. Another mineral-rich wine in its aromas-as is typical of Giorgio Badin's wines-but also with green apple, ripe pear and a pleasant smoky quality. Plenty of green apple, pear, fern and freshly baked cookie flavors. This multilayered pinot grigio relies on nuance and mineral refinement rather than creamy softness for impact. Extremely clean, refreshing and long on the steely finish.
