($40; 14% alcohol) Medium green-yellow. A gooseberry fragrance is accompanied in the mouth by a flavor of lichee. Opulent and full-bodied, but this remains wonderfully focused thanks to its refreshing acid structure. In fact, despite its power, this very appetizing wine conveys a lovely light touch. An outstanding but youthfully understated wine with superb potential. Drink 2009 to 2020.
