Deeper golden color than the '07. Expansive, highly complex nose combines orange, kiwi, lemon-lime, sweet butter, papaya and iodine. Broad and rich, offering an array of ripe orchard and pit fruit flavors, with a gentle hint of acidity giving lift. Suave, creamy and very rich on the impressively long and deep finish. Very much in line with the fat, almost over-the-top style of past Cometa bottlings.
