94 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2008

(a blend of malvasia, riesling and tocai) Medium-deep straw-yellow with a golden tinge. Spicy, floral nose evokes apricot, peach, grapefruit, cinnamon and white pepper, nicely complemented by a touch of honey. Rich, deep and full-bodied, showcasing flavors of mango, grapefruit and peach, along with a tantalizing hint of caramelized banana. Though obviously not shy in the alcohol department, the wine maintains remarkable balance and finishes very long and pure. More concentrated than the excellent '05 bottling.
