About Maison Chapoutier
Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

89 Points | International Wine Cellar , January/February 2008
Medium gold. Rich, honeyed peach and apricot aromas are complicated by smoky herbs and dried flowers. Soft and round, with deep pit fruit and floral honey flavors, subtle minerality and a long, oily finish. A late jolt of lemon zest adds clarity and grip, not to mention complexity.
