90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - April 2008
($18) Pale, green-tinged yellow. Textbook varietal aromas suggest orange, peach, apricot, yellow rose, honey and exotic spices; this could only be gewurz. Fleshy and spicy, with a complex array of orchard, pit and exotic fruit flavors firmed by zesty minerality and complicated by candied rose and dusty minerals. The yield here was only two tons per acre, according to Peter Rosback. As classic a New World example of this variety as I've ever had.
