2006 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Batard Montrachet

Very deep aromas of menthol, clove, nut oils and flowers. A huge, lush, concentrated wine whose sheer ripeness is easily handled by superb acidity. There's nothing heavy about this wonderfully fat and sweet grand cru. I find this easy to taste today after several hours in a carafe but it should evolve in bottle for a long time. Beginning with 2006, Colin's team picked these vines, as well as those in Genevrieres, Perrieres and Folatieres.
