($28) Pale gold. Sexy, strongly floral bouquet of tangerine, pear, chalky minerals and fresh flowers. Racy lime and green apple flavors are sharply focused and complemented by subtle minerality, which extends through the long, spicy finish. No excess fat on this one. Guffens made this from the pressings of all his Saint-Veran wines, which he told me are all from Davaye, "the best part of the appellation."
