About Louis Michel & Fils
In six generations of winemaking here in Chablis, the Michel family has developed a no nonsense approach. You won't find the distracting presence of oak in these immaculate Chardonnays, because no wood is used in their cellaring.

($78) Pale yellow with a hint of green. Subdued but pure aromas of minerals and lime blossom. High-pitched and a bit youthfully reticent, with lovely richness and sweetness to the peachy fruit. This ripe, sweet, fruit-driven wine is more about the vintage than about the site. Perhaps most minerally on the long, broad finish, which is tactile and gripping.
