About Domaine William Fevre
Fevre was once good. Now it's great. In fact, the improvement of this house is one of the most exciting developments in Chablis in the past 20 years. The ownership of the Henriot family of Champagne, which also owns Bouchard Père et Fils in Beaune, has resulted in a striking transformation.

($75) Good pale yellow-green color. Tangy nose offers ginger, licorice, white pepper and stone. Sappy and spicy if tightly wound; the wine's peach, spice and stone qualities reminded me a bit of a top gruner veltliner Smaragd. Offers lovely sweetness and density, and finishes with terrific length.
