($40) Yellow-gold. Smoky tangerine, pear and yellow plum scents, with a vanilla bean note lending an impression of sweetness. Broad and deep, with chewy citrus and orchard fruit flavors. Fleshy and palate-staining, with the weight to stand up to rich foods, or blue cheeses. Finishes with bitter peach skin character. (Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA)
