2006 Coldstream Hills Chardonnay Yarra Valley

Light yellow. White peach, honeyed pear and vanilla on the nose, with a light dusting of minerals adding energy. Medium-bodied pit fruit flavors are brightened by orange zest and sweetened by vanillin oak. Finishes with good lift and a subtle orange quality. Nicely balanced chardonnay, with no excess ripeness or weight.
