2006 Baileyana Chardonnay Grand Firepeak Cuvee Edna Valley

Scents of green apples and fresh pears combine in the lightly oaked nose of this engaging youngster, and, on the palate, the wine is in step with expectations save for its slight boost in over-all viscosity and weight. Still, this is not an especially big wine, and its snappy flavors signal that pairing with simply grilled fish is in order.
