Very good one!
I bought 5 cases of this one over a year ago after I tried a couple of bottles during a "discovery visit" to TW. It is a perfect wine in my opinion...I now compare everything else to it...and even more expensive wine does not measure up. I recommend that you do NOT buy this until I can get back and pick up another 5 cases!! cheers
Try the cab but chardonay is not listed and is 5 stars
Nice smooth flavor for the price. Mild oak flavor with a hint of berry. I was surprise that at the price of this wine that it would taste this good.
Full Body w deep fruit
This is my everyday cab - it is full bodied and has deep fruit flavor - does not have the velvet smooth california finish - it is almost chewy there is so much fruit flavor
In my opinion it's Best Cab for the Price - can rival wines twice as expensive - highly recommend
Coffee and Chocolate
2008 year. As soon as I smelled the wine in the glass the coffee aroma hit me. As I drank it I wanted something sweet, luckily we had some 60% dark chocolate on hand. Terrific combination. Not sure how well it would go with other foods, hence only the 4 stars, but still a great pairing.
Refreshing, tasty, buy it again
Winston-Salem Purchase - June 2009
2007 Reserve. $11.99/ea. - 2 bottle
aged 10 months in french oak (50% new)
This wine was recommended to me by a staff member in the Union, NJ store. What a delicious wine. This is one where you taste it and say "wow". Amazing concentrated cassis flavors and a real nice finish. This wine could easily sell for $20 - $25 a bottle and still be worth the price.
Easily a $30 wine. Very smooth and balanced, medium bodied.
I thought this to be a refined complex wine for which I would expect to pay two or three times as much. Highly recommended.
Nice cab for the price
Sweet coffee aroma and lingering fruity finish lends it for robust pasta, but I am not sure if it will stand to red meats. A great wine for the price. Oak is almost not detectable. Chewy tannins are excellently balanced by the fruit.
Very good 05
Confident Delivery of Full Flavor
I am a very big Cabernet Sauvingnon fan around this price point and have not found a better one. It's smooth, aromatic and solid.
