Green-tinged straw. Vibrant and precise scents of pure lime, melon, pear and minerals are complicated by mint, bay and licorice. This possesses a supple mid-palate of impressive depth, with strong pear, apple skin and citrus flavors enlivened by a jolt of minerals and bitter citrus pith flavors on the back. As complex and balanced a Loire Valley sauvignon as I tasted this year, with a finish that will not quit.
