($90) Bright pink with an orange tinge Red berries, pear, rose and jasmine on the nose, with notes of toasty lees and orange zest adding nuance. Fleshy but focused and dry, offering broad orchard fruit flavors and deeper hints of cherry pit and smoky minerals. Becomes firmer with air, picking up a note of dried rose and finishing with very good clarity and smoky persistence. This is showing well now but its freshness suggests it will reward five years or so of patience. (Remy Cointreau USA, New York, NY)
