Light orange. Musky blood orange and redcurrant on the nose and palate, an herbal nuance building with air. Chewy and broad, with good finishing punch and a touch of lingering warmth. I'd serve this weighty pink Champagne with roasted chicken or duck - it's definitely more suited to the table than for aperitif duty.
