89 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - May/June 2009

Good full red-ruby. Musky redcurrant, coffee, loam, mocha and iron on the sexy, complex nose. Suave on entry, then subtly sweet and vinous in the middle, with good definition and floral lift to the flavors of plum, redcurrant, iron, coffee and smoke. A silky midweight with sweet tannins and sneaky persistence, for enjoying over the next six or seven years.
