2006 Chateau Beauregard Pomerol

70% Merlot; 30% Cabernet Franc. Showing Merlot's herbal side rather than its more fruity face, this bottling is a touch underplayed in most respects save the nominal but largely unbuffered tannins that hold sway at the finish. Time will work in its favor, but we are not convinced that this one will become a complete wine even with age.
