($65; blended with 5% petit verdot) Good bright ruby-red. Musky aromas of raspberry, tobacco, violet and mint. Juicy and penetrating in the mouth, with spicy, highly aromatic raspberry, blackberry, chocolate and rose petal flavors. Lively more than fleshy despite its 15.2% alcohol. With a minty lift to the cabernet, this offers a light touch. May merit an even higher score with a couple years of cellaring.
