96 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January/February 2011

($480) Deep ruby. B oysenberry, smoky Indian spices, licorice and violet on the nose. Then sweet, supple and expansive in the mouth, with strikingly deep flavors of dark berry and cherry compote, mocha and violet pastille. The endless finish displays fine-grained tannins and intense licorice and floral notes. This will age at a snail's pace.
