($70) Saturated ruby. Perfumed aromas of candied red and dark berries, sandalwood, fresh rose and white pepper. Silky in texture, with spicy raspberry and blueberry flavors, slow-mounting sweetness and dusty tannins. Showing a lot of spice today, which adds vibrancy to the deeply concentrated berry flavors. Finishes smooth, sweet and precise. I'd give this a few years in the bottle to gain complexity.
