($110) Deep medium ruby. Sexy aromas of cassis, blackberry, raspberry jam, barbecue sauce and liquid smoke; carrying a heavy load of oak. Then fat, sweet and carnal, with smoky flavors of meat, earth, coconut and vanilla. Dense, saline and very oaky. Undeniably impressive, but could use a bit more verve and shape.
