($18) Ruby-red. Dark cherry and plum aromas are strongly marked by fresh meat and musky underbrush; licorice and floral pastille notes appear with air, along with a bright mineral quality. Surprisingly sweet on the palate, with bright raspberry and strawberry jam flavors, a silky texture and very light tannins. Expands and gains in sweetness on the impressively broad, long finish.
