($225) Opaque ruby. Vibrant red and dark berry aromas are complicated by cured tobacco, fresh flowers and suave oak spices. The palate features deeper blackberry and boysenberry, with impressive, mounting minerality adding verve. Turns spicier and sweeter on the finish, which leaves a strong impression of fresh dark berries. This very impressive wine's tannins are completely absorbed by its luscious fruit.
