About Soter Vineyards
Tony Soter made his name with Cabernet Sauvignon in California at Spottswoode, as well as with his own Etude label. But to show he was serious about Oregon Pinot Noir, he relocated to the Willamette Valley. The time and energy he's devoted to the vineyard is evident in his intensely fruity, layered Pinots that do not sacrifice balance or focus for power.

($20) Light, bright pink. Spicy redcurrant, wild strawberry and ruby-red grapefruit aromas are complicated by white pepper and Asian spices. Tangy and focused, offering zesty red berry flavors and good mineral lift. Brisk red fruits and bitter citrus pith dominate the long, spicy finish. This is really refreshing and pure.
