Ruby-red. Explosively perfumed aromas of vibrant red and dark berries, graphite, violet and smoked meat evoke the Rhone Valley. Sweet, focused raspberry and cherry preserve flavors are framed by juicy acidity and given structure by silky tannins. Spicy qualities build and linger impressively on the long, velvety finish. The vines here were reportedly planted in 1928.

had this with salmon and my guests were delighted to see how well red wine went with seafood. it cut right though the fat in the salmon. full ripe berry flavors. perfection.
