($200; all tempranillo) Dark ruby. Explosively aromatic, room-filling bouquet of spicy cherry and fresh flowers, with an exotic overlay of smoky herbs. Round, sweet and deep, with powerful cherry and dark berry flavors, a creamy texture and slow-building minerality. Leaves traces of mocha and cured meat behind on the broad, very long finish. Pretty remarkable stuff. (Eric Solomon Selections, Charlotte, NC)
