($50; only the third vintage for this bottling, which was previously made in 2001 and 1990) Ruby-red. Seductively perfumed bouquet of spiced cherry, plum, fresh rose and Asian spices. Weighty and sweet, with deep red and dark berry flavors framed by surprisingly nervy acidity. Gains firmness on the finish, which is impressively palate-staining and persistent. No problem drinking this now. (Ole Imports, New Rochelle, NY)
