Powerful, balanced, heady aroma

Throws a lot of sediment for a 5 year-old wine, but this has beautiful balance, flavor, and bouquet. Extremely enjoyable.

A classic Howell Mountain cabernet with firm,concentrated black cherry, currant and mineral flavors. Delicious now and only will improve in my cellar

Textbook dark-fruited Howell cab with effusive aromas of wild dark cherries, a hint of mineral-inflected soil tones, and a subtle topnote of violets. Velvety plush on entry, with more of those dark cherry nuances, espresso roast, and a suggestion of that classic Howell cocoa character. I'd buy again, quite nice.
