Medium red. Red fruits, menthol and brown spices on the nose. More tight-knit and firmly structured than the basic Barolo, with hints of game, leather and brown spices. But this also comes across as drier and a bit more rustic than the regular bottling. Aged 24 months in 15-hectoliter Slovenian oak casks.
