($34) Medium green-yellow. Intense mango and pineapple aromas over a background of spring meadow herbs and light, leafy tobacco. Very concentrated wine with a ripe apple flavor verging on opulent, yet tightly woven. Apricot, spice and mineral notes linger impressively on the complex, classy finish. This is already a very versatile food wine and possesses very good potential for aging. Drink from 2009 through 2016. (Winemonger, Los Angeles, CA)
