($40) Good bright red-ruby. Lively redcurrant and cranberry aromas along with nutty oak on the nose. Ripe, fat and fruit-driven; in a gentle, round style but classically dry. Subtly complex in the middle palate, with suave oak treatment. Finishes long and smooth, with noteworthy aromatic persistence.
