($38; 40% mourvedre, 32% syrah, 17% grenache, 7% counoise and 4% tannat) Dark red. Intensely spicy nose offers vibrant red berries, sexy cinnamon and incense. Deep and sweet, but showing impressively brisk redcurrant and strawberry flavors and firm mineral spine. The spicy character resounds on a long, pure finish. Pretty delicious.
