($45) Bright red. Impressively complex bouquet displays dried red berries, kirsch, olive, tobacco and smoky minerals. Gently sweet, with silky texture and light-bodied but potent red berry and bitter cherry flavors. Gains weight with air and finishes with excellent clarity, cling and persistence. (Various importers, including North Berkeley Imports, Berkeley, CA)

For the price a decent drinkable wine. I'll give half away as gifts.
