(auction wine) Golden yellow. Noble aromas of candied pineapple, blackcurrant and nutmeg over a layer of pure honeyed botrytis. The rich, buttery passion fruit flavor is nicely accentuated by saline minerality, with suggestions of brown spice woven into an elegant braid of floral scents. Pure, crisp and decidedly light in spite of its sweetness, with elegant concentration and impressive length. One of the top ausleses of the vintage.
