(00% marsanne; from the Dardouille site near Mauves, which is almost completely granite) Pale yellow. Vibrant pear and mirabelle aromas are deepened by blond tobacco and truffle. Sweeter orange and pear flavors offer very good depth and clarity, with slow-building anise and chamomile on the finish. "I really like the maturity the marsanne achieved in 2006," Faurie told me.
