Pale gold. Explosively perfumed, sexy bouquet suggests orange, pear, white flowers and toasted grain; really smells like white Burgundy. Fresh citrus and orchard fruit flavors offer depth as well as precision, with a lively mineral character adding lift. Gains a spicy, anise-like quality on the long, zesty finish. Excellent balance here. (A Peter Vezan Selection; importers include North Berkeley Imports, Berkeley, CA and Michael Skurnik Wines, Syosset, NY)
