2006 Francesco Rinaldi Dolcetto d'Alba Roussot

Deep red-ruby. Nobly rustic aromas of medicinal black cherry, chocolate and black tea. Rich, lush and layered, with dark chocolate and cherry flavors complicated by earth and herbs. Elegant and seamless wine, at once layered and light on its feet. The firm tannins arrive late, allowing the medicinal cherry and intriguing soil tones to gain in sweetness and take on an even creamier texture.
