($22) Bright, full ruby. Superripe aromas of black cherry, blueberry and bitter chocolate. Rich, deep and rather powerful (14.5% alcohol), with superb sweetness to its strong fruit. A major mouthful of sweet, ripe barbera but with enough acidity to give life to its lush texture.
