($45; a blend of 70% pinot bianco, 25% chardonnay, and 5% riesling and sauvignon) Medium straw-yellow. Mineral and floral aromas are nicely complemented by vanilla, white peach and talcum powder. Medium in body, with flavors of spices and dried fruits to go along with fresher, riper hints of pineapple and banana. Finishes clean and with an obvious saline quality. Aged in large oak barrels, this gains in smoothness without taking on any overwhelming vanilla overtones.
