($75) Deep red. Dark cherry and plum on the nose. Chewy cherry and dark fruit flavors pack serious punch and pick up gentle spiciness with air. The spice notes linger on the long, sappy finish, which leaves a bitter licorice quality behind. Needs some time to flesh out. This organic vineyard is Demeter-certified.
