($40) Ruby-red color. Suave, oak-spiced cassis and cherry aromas are complicated by cured tobacco, clove and cigar box. Supple in texture, offering sweet, juicy dark fruit flavors framed by dusty tannins. A rather elegantly styled cabernet that picks up subtle mint, mineral and floral pastille qualities on the back end. (JR)
