About Ponzi Vineyards
Dick Ponzi established this winery in the earliest days of the Oregon industry, in 1970. Today, Ponzi shares winemaking responsibilities with his daughter Luisa, and the house style continues to emphasize finesse and subtlety, with the Ponzi Reserve bottling adding power and concentration to the equation. Since 1991, the Ponzis have been dedicating part of the Aurora vineyard to the cultivation of several Italian varietals rarely grown in the US: Dolcetto and Arneis. These are both certainly worth seeking out.

Greenish-yellow color. Ripe apple and pear aromas are complemented by floral honey and baking spices. Round and fleshy, with nicely concentrated orchard fruit flavors and gentle smokiness. Gains energy with air, finishing with good breadth and gentle snap.
