About Chehalem
Almost thirty years ago Harry Peterson-Nedry began scouting potential vineyard locations in Oregon's burgeoning wine country. He soon discovered what's now called Ribbon Ridge, an ancient, uniform sedimentary hillside at the extreme western end of the Chehalem Mountains. There, he planted the Ridgecrest Vineyard, Chehalem's oldest, in 1982.

($22) Bright yellow. Spicy pear and yellow plum aromas offer good depth and musky character. Fleshy and smooth, with palate-staining pit fruit and melon flavors braced by juicy acidity. A deep, round style that would work well with spicy or rich foods.
