($10) Dark red. Earthy red berry and cherry aromas are brightened by cracked pepper and dried rose. Fleshy red fruit flavors are a touch primal but offer good, sweet palate coverage. Finishes with gentle tannic grip and good length. (Ole Imports, New Rochelle, NY)
