($90) Good red-ruby. Deep, pure aromas of plum, redcurrant, chocolate, loam and leather. Lush, sweet and dense, communicating an impression of power. An enticing mineral tang perks up the chewy raspberry flavor. Finishes with broad, ripe tannins and excellent persistence. These vines were replanted in 1997 and 1998.
