($32) Pale yellow. Bright apple and pear on the nose, with subtle macadamia nut and baking spice qualities adding interest. Juicy orchard and pit fruit flavors are framed by bracing acidity, taking a dry turn on the close and leaving behind a strong impression of spice. A grown-up, low-fat style of chardonnay, with the oomph to accompany rich foods.
